Antigua is about 45 minutes from the airport in Guatemala City.  We will be glad to provide transportation to and from La Antigua at a charge of $50.00 for round trip.   Arrangements need to be made in advance.

There are several options of living here in La Antigua.  Our school provides a guesthouse in the school, students can live with a Guatemalan family, or hotel arrangements can also be made.

  • The school guesthouse provides the student with a bedroom and shared bathroom in a beautiful historic Antigua home.  One advantage of living in the school's guesthouse is the use of a telephone, fax and computer with internet access upon request.  You are provide with 2 meals a day (breakfast and lunch), except Sundays.  A fully equiped kitchen is available to preserve and cook your meals when no food is served.   Our gardens are beautiful for you just to sit and read a book or relax yourself during the spare time.

  • Living with a Guatemalan family is also an option.  All our families are within a walking distance of the school.  Living with a family provides the student a cultural Hispanic family seeting, and classroom lessons can be practiced during meals.  Living conditions are modest and clean.  Each student has their own room and is provided three meals a day except Sundays.

  • Hotel and inn arrangements can be made for the student; La Antigua is full of historic hotels and inns at reasonable nightly prices.

Housing in the school and families:

School = $80.00 a week
Family = $75.00 a week
Hotel   = $15.00 to $150.00 a night
