These we know as allspice, but in someplaces, particularly the West Indies, by the old spanish name "Pimento". The ground berries are used for flavouring and curing processed and canned meat as well as bakering products. Ground berries are also used for domestic cooking. The oil of the berries is used by food industry for meat and fruit flavouring, while in perfumery it is used to create men's fragances. The oil of pimento leaves is cheaper that of the berries but less suitable for flauvoring.
PACKAGING AND LABELLING: The required packaging and labelling will always be specified in the contract between the Exporter and Importer, but usually it is packed 100 pounds woven polyethylene bags.
